Choir holiday 2010, Wirksworth

This years holiday was in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, staying at the Glenorchy Centre. Trips included a walk up Mam Tor via the disused road damaged in a landslide in 1979. The walk continued around the valley over Back Tor and Lose Hill. The following day we went on a 23 mile bike ride along the High Peak trail to Parsley Hay and back. After a well deserved lie in, we went to Wild Leisure Park for an afternoon of quadbiking which was fantastic fun, even if one of the choristers had to be retrieved after driving into a bush! On Thursday we went down Treak Cliff and Speedwell caverns and Friday we had a treasure hunt around Matlock in fancy dress.
A huge thank you to everyone that came to help and made the holiday such a great success.
